SMU Cox School of Business

The SMU Cox School of Business project includes the expansion and renovation of the business school Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. The updates will feature improved technology, classrooms, and event spaces throughout the three buildings as well as an addition of around 63,000 SF. The project aims to enhance the student experience with cohesive spaces that support collaboration, overall leading to a richer learning experience for students at SMU.

  • Scope: Face lift for SMU Cox School of Business - includes 3 ground-up 4 story buildings connecting the 3 existing buildings and renovation of said existing buildings (will make one building altogether). GMi's scope included cold-formed exterior metal framing and sheathing, non-structural interior metal framing, drywall, drywall ceilings, acoustical wall panels and ceilings, building insulation, and hollow metal frames and doors.
